Monoblock Driveways

There are lots of different materials to choose from your driveway and all have their advantages.  One of the classics is monoblock driveways where you have a single shape and size block repeated across the entire drive area.  But why might this be just right for you?

Block paving is extremely versatile and because each block is laid individually, it can be formed into any shape or dimension.  So if you have an unusual shaped front garden that you want to convert to a drive or you have an area of driveway that you want to look more organic and less square, this is a great material for it.

Monoblock also has solid environmental credentials because it is porous and lets water through.  Unlike solid surfaces such as concrete, monoblock can let water escape and this removes the chance of water build-up and even floods. 

The surface is also very low maintenance, and this means you don’t spend too much time looking after it.  Soap and water are all that is needed in the majority of cases to restore the look of the drive.  And because the material is so durable, it will withstand the constant use.

Monoblock driveways come in such a wide variety of styles and colours you can always find something that looks as you desire or fits in with the house.  It can also match with other paving areas such as patios, paths or walls.
